Color is an imprtant factor in the impact a quilt has on all who view it.  Our guest speaker for the evening, Tica de Moor,  has a great deal of expertise in this area as an artist, interior designer, and quilter.   Members were led beyond the rudiments of color theory,  enjoying a visual feast including great works of art by Rembrandt, Monet, Matisse, Chagall and Itten.   Quilts made by contemporary quilters that demonstrated the principles discussed were also shown.

Tica's presentation was inspirational to those of us who frequently struggle with our fabric choices!
