"30 Years and Counting:  My Quilting Journey"

TinaCraigPortrait.jpg Join us this evening as Tina Craig recounts a humorous and lively show-and-tell presentation that follows her development and growth as a quilter -- from her first lumpy sampler quilt in 1990  to a few local "Best in Show" winners.

Her business, Seaside Stitches, was born in 1997 when she moved to a seaside town in southern Rhode Island.  Initially, her focus was making and selling hundreds of paper-pieced quilt block lapel pins. She now prefers  teaching quilting techniques to others.  She specializes in precision piecing (foundation paper piecing and English paper piecing) and domestic machine quilting. She enjoys learning new techniques and has even stepped out of her comfort zone to try art quilting. Her goal is to challenge herself and learn something new with every quilt.

Tina's work has been exhibited at Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival, World Quilt New England, and QuiltCon Together 2021.  She was featured in Issue 25 of Quiltfolk.  She currently serves as Co-Vice-President of Ninigret Quilters and is a member of Narragansett Bay Quilters Association, and The Modern Quilt Guild.
