Each month (September through May) guild members are invited to participate in the Block-of-the-Month (BOM) program. The BOM Committee Chair chooses the style and size of the block to be constructed and may specify a color theme.
Following these guidelines, each member who chooses to participate makes at least one block which is given to the BOM chair at the next Guild meeting. Each block made enters the participant's name into the raffle
During the meeting, the winner's name will be drawn from the group of all BOM participants for the month. That lucky individual gets to bring home ALL the blocks submitted that day!
Keep in mind -- you may come home from the Guild meeting empty-handed! If you want to ensure that you will be able to construct a quilt top at the end of the year, be sure to make two blocks each month: one to bring and one to keep.
A block that you make for yourself can be in whatever colors and size you prefer.
