Lecture: "Oxymorons: Absurdly Logical Quilts"

Diane S. Hire is the author of Quilters Playtime, Games for Quilt makers and editor of Oxymoron: a Collection of
Absurdly Logical Quilts. An award- winning fiber artist and international exhibitor, Diane strives to stretch the rules and
locate fresh boundaries. Though she embraces technical skill, she doesn't allow technique to overshadow image. She honors
diversity, celebrates new approaches, and challenges concepts.

Workshop: "Come Play with Me"
 
  Need to lighten up? Not having any fun with precision piecing? Then this workshop's
  for you! Improvisational and intuitive, we'll play liberating games at your sewng
  machine, allow creative juices to flow. We'll slice and dice fabrics, trade slivers of blocks,
  hunt for the bright colors just begging for a place to land in a quilt. Return home with a
  few oxymoron blocks, in random order.

  You may bring your own lunch or can add your selections to the order for The First
  Sandwich Shop in Walpole. We suggest that you familiarize yourself with the order form 
  that will be circulated that day to minimize class disruption.
